Lokki duvet cover 150x210cm & pillowcase 50 x 60 cm - Marimekko

The Lokki pattern duvet cover and pillow cover made of 200 TC cotton percale. Hand openings at the top corners make changing the covers easier. The bottom opening has a metal button closure and the edges feature double topstitching.

75% of the cotton used in this product is organic and 25% is recycled.

The idea for the Lokki (seagull) motif came to Maija Isola while she was looking at a window over which a curtain had been drawn. The sun was shining brightly, and the curtain's wide pleats were forming wavy shadows on the fabric.
Maija had a sudden inspiration: if a fabric is printed with waves, even a small piece appears abundantly, richly folded.
